Marcos Rudmann first studied singing with a focus on popular music / musical theater at the Conservatory LA COLMENA in his hometown Córdoba, Argentina (2001 - 2004). In 2013 he successfully completed his artistic - pedagogical diploma in singing (equivalent to a Masters degree) at the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main - Musikakademie "Louis Spohr" (Germany).
He began his musical career at the age of 17 with the musical company "Sincópatas" (2000 - 2002). From 2003 to 2006 he was part of the opera company "Companía a-cuerda". There he sang roles such as Don Basilio in "Marriage of Figaro" and Florville in Rossini's "Il signor Bruschino" among others at the State Theater "Teatro San Martín".
In 2007 he starred in the play "The Stolen Dream" at the tic - musicaltheater Kassel. In 2012 he created the role of Jarvis in the jazz opera "The Bitter Grasses" by Diego Jascalevich at the tif - Staatstheater Kassel. Also in 2012 he played the male lead role in the tango opera "María de Buenos Aires" in the theater THOMAS ROHLOFF Berlin in a cooperation between the Hanns Eisler University and the Komische Oper Berlin under the supervision of Andreas Homoki. Since this year he presents the program "If words fall short" in collaboration with the pianist Ayako Ito. In 2014, he again appeared in the Staatstheater Kassel with one of the leading roles in the guest performance "The Game". In the same year he sang the solo part of "Misa Criolla" by Ariel Ramirez under the direction of Reinhard Schneider. In 2016 he played the tango singer in "TangoGeschicte(n)" at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen and in 2017 at the Piccolo teatro Braunschweig.
In 2018 he was jury member in the creative competition "WANN SINGST DU?" in the conext of the Kassel Music Festival.
His pedagogical career began in 2003. He gave masterclasses among others at the Conservatorio Provincial "Felix T. Garzón" (2012) and the musical school "Rasante Multiespacio" (2015) in vocals, musical theatre, belting, functional voice training and repertoire.
2013 - 2014 he took over the vocal rehearsal and choreography in the musical RITTER ROST (Forest Festival eV Suhl) and the direction of the musical project "WHAT WE ARE" within the funding program kultur macht stark at the Suhler Jugendschmiede. 2015 - 2016 he tought the music class at the elementary school Brückenhof - Nordhausen.
From 2015 to 2018, Marcos Rudmann was a lecturer in the fields of singing, scenic singing and musical at the staatlich annerkante Schule für darstellende Künste Kassel.
At the moment he teaches singing at the music school in Hofgeismar and at the Freie Musikschule am Wall in Göttingen.
He is co-director of the theater group "Was für ein Theater!" as part of a theater educational inclusion project in cooperation with the Kasseler Werkstätten and the Association for the Promotion of Art and Culture Kassel.
Since 2018 he is artistic faculty at the Institute of Music and Musicology at the University of Hildesheim where he teaches singing for popular music (jazz / rock /pop).
